A person who carries or proclaims important news or a
messenger that gives a sign or indication of something to come.
Strike:
Concerted stopping of work or withdrawal of workers' services, as to compel an employer to accede to workers' demands or in protest against terms or conditions imposed by an employer.
Hedge fund:
An aggressively managed
portfolio of investments that uses advanced investment strategies such as
leveraged, long, short and derivative positions in both domestic and
international markets with the goal of generating high returns (either in an
absolute sense or over a specified market benchmark)
Contractors
Organization or
individual that contracts with another organization or individual (the owner)
for the construction of a building, road or other facility
Red herring:
Is used to refer to
something that misleads or distracts from the relevant or important issue.
It may be either a logical fallacy or a literary
device that leads readers or characters towards a false
conclusion. A red herring might be intentionally used, such as in mystery
fiction or as part of a rhetorical strategy (e.g. in politics), or it could be
inadvertently used during argumentation as a result of poor logic.
